- Seeds of One World Government - 20/8/2005 By Nadir Martello
Foreword ‘Basic Politics’ is a series of articles written, in particular, for ordinary people, learned and unlearned; in support of understanding that politics is a way of life, albeit for the commoners, an unusual one, yet, whether we like it or not, it is part of our every day struggle and very existence. Prologue "Of all tyrannies, a tyranny exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end, for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." C. S. Lewis (1898-1963) "I am not a friend to a very energetic government. It is always oppressive." Thomas Jefferson For many years, I thought that government and politics was one and the same thing. To me even the word ‘state’ was synonymous with government. Those days are gone. Today, I see things through different eyes. Introduction Big governments & Politicians – the general picture I see governments as utilitarian machines – unprincipled and soulless. They are the bleak apparatus, the drab, dull, bureaucratic structure, by which politicians, with their associates & affiliates, operate and implement their own policies. But politicians come and go, according to the ‘swings’ and ‘twists’ of their respective political parties or their own constituencies; but governments stay forever, in theory. Governments are formed, organized, and reshuffled many times over, by their leaders – whether governors, premiers, prime ministers or presidents - in order to lead their countries, each according to the policies of his own political party, following an established agenda often concealed from the electorate. To use an analogy, governments are to politicians what buses are to drivers; to take the analogy another step: A government is to its leader, what the bus is to its engine. A) - Duration of a Head of State – the engine Now, for the sake of argument, I would say that the average duration of a government is about ten years. However, what I am really talking about here is the ministerial top of a government [i.e. the ‘engine’], which is made up of a handful of privileged people, say a president or prime minister, and his cabinet-ministers.
B) - Duration of the Public Service – the bus However, when we talk about the duration of the bureaucratic system, that is another kettle of fish, because it is made up of hundreds, if not thousands, of public servants - from the Head of Department to the last humble toilet cleaner – and goes on ad infinitum. Take as examples Italy, England, France.….as the saying goes: “the more things change, the more they stay the same”. When we talk about duration of a government - the engine, we should bear in mind that the spotlight is on its leader - and his entourage of cabinet-ministers, with their advisers; and not on the rest of government staff as such, i.e. the bus. This is because the former lasts only for say ten years; the latter much longer (centuries?).
Chapter one Big governments Big governments, whether democratically elected or not: for example, the United States of America, European Union, the former Soviet Union, and China.
US government The government of United Stated of America is run, alternatively, by one of two main parties - Republican or Democrat.
The Republican/Democrat parties - Before and Now To use an analogy, the Republican Party was [and is] to corporate business what the Rolls Royce was [and is] to the rich. The Democratic Party was to the majority what the Morris Minor was to the poor. Today, there is very little difference between these two parties. Their policies, so dissimilar in past years, have almost merged as one and the same; but this ‘arrangement’ has been obscured from the public eye. Needless to say, this “makeover” has taken place gradually since the creation of the central banking system - the Federal Reserve, a private banking cartel established in 1913 . As U.S. President, James A. Garfield said: “Whoever controls the volume of money in any country is absolute master of all industry and commerce.” Similarly Mayer Amschel Rothschild said: “Permit me to issue and control the money of a nation and I care not who makes its laws.” And yours truly: “Whoever has control of food and energy has control of a country and its government”. Now, I won’t explain how this was done by the banking cartel - the money-changers - for it is not the scope of this writing. Political power without money is “All Smoke But No Meat” ('Tutto fumo senza arosto', in Italian) However, one thing is certain; the money-changers possess these two common characteristics: a) They do not care who is in power, because b) They are above politics, for they know that ultimately, power has to be nurtured by money, which they create “ex nihilo”.
Political power Hence big governments are so because they have acquired power, by pretence and deceit, telling lies that “everything was done for the benefit of the people”. Thus big government machinery is created by the politicians [who have vested interests with the money-changers], and with one purpose in mind: total control over the masses.
Totalitarianism You may now ask, “What is the difference between a western “democratic” government and a totalitarian ones such as China, Russia, Cuba, Zimbabwe, Cambodia, and Vietnam?” In my opinion, the difference between these two types of government is skin deep or superficial. The former is a wolf in sheep’s clothing, deceiving people with its “democratic” rhetoric, and exercising a corrupted electoral system, which is but a pretence, for as Josef Stalin said: "It's not the votes that count; it's who counts the votes." The latter shows its colours without pretending. The people know they have no choice but to abide by the party-state line, for fear “the sky might fall on their heads”. What point am I trying to make?
Chapter two After 9/11, with its follow-up “War on Terrorism”, the whole world manifestly took a new and sinister turn for the worse. Big government - in this case that of the United States of America, which today is the world military power - took forcefully, [militarily and politically] the leading part in the global arena, as has never before happened with any other government, even the Roman Empire in all its glory. One World Government The two-party system of the United States (as for some other western countries) has alternatively, one party in the seat of power and the other in the opposition. As a figure of speech, this system reflects the two sides of the moon - one visible and the other hidden - the dark and hidden face is the opposition party, whoever this might be. And there, in this political system, the money-changers play their role, as always in the history of finance and the banking system, “contributing” and maintaining the “balance” of power, turning the moon to their own benefit. They hold the knife by the handle Their power is the invisible and a faceless force. And as long as it stays that way, power gradually changes from ‘small p’ power to ‘capital P’ Power, because of its unnamed and unidentified origin. Once it has been given to a group of politicians then it is called “Authority”; and those without power are called “Opposition”; but all in all, those who hold the real power are the money-changers, for “they hold the knife by the handle”.
The three levels of power Government is the first level of power, i.e. the official one. The Opposition, the government’s challenger – is second level. The money-changers are the third level of power, albeit unofficial, behind the scenes but with a capital P. Hence, the power is one, although it is exercised by three different groups and at three different levels – the two official, the other the over-riding unofficial one. In a nutshell The three levels of power are: 1) The visible and official authority in power; 2) The opposition political body; 3) The money/power interests embodied in the corporate machine and the money-changers.
Chapter three Big governments are planned years ahead To understand how big governments work, and how “nothing is unplanned”, we have now to reverse the order. The money-changers, through their established ‘agencies’ or affiliates - Trilateral Commission, Council on Foreign Relations, the Bilderbergers, the Club of Rome, the Round Table, the IMF, the World Bank, etc - appoint two or three candidates for leadership from the Republican/Democrat (Liberal/ Labor) pool of political candidates. The most suitable [read malleable, compliant, and unscrupulous] person will be chosen for the elections. In the meantime, the “opposition” party will also be supported and subsidized by the corporate muscle, although less than the power-to-be, just enough to keep it in position - as a “spare tyre”. This financial support by the money-changers is used to oil the political damage-control machinery, in the contingency of an emergency or political “crisis” which might threaten their agenda. The government of the day - with its “empowered” political party - gets the support it needs from the money-changers, providing, of course, it abides by and follows the “party-line” [i.e. hidden agenda, which really belongs to the corporate power], lest the blade of the guillotine fall, prematurely, on its neck. In the last century and so, some governments ‘evolved’ into big governments, because they became the apex of the corporate power, propped up by the money-changers, which increasingly appropriated for themselves the sovereign power from the people [who think that they still have power by ‘democratic’ decree] and use it to control, and enslave the people they are supposed to serve. Buzzwords like “globalization”, “free trade”, “multiculturalism”, “democracy”, are used to confuse and deceive us. According to Carroll Quigley, “Tragedy & Hope – A History of the World in Our Time”, the ultimate goal is: "nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole. This system was to be controlled ...by the central banks...acting in concert." (324)
Quigley confirms: “that the bankers have usurped mankind's collective instincts by financing the Socialist and Communist movements. Bankers love big government because the ultimate monopoly is the State. Through it, they can take over their competition and control debt, resources, market demand and labor.” “The Money Power controls the debate and encourages gridlock by backing all political shades and marginalizing anyone who shines the spotlight on them. The media is controlled through direct ownership and advertising.” Quigley writes: "To Morgan all political parties were simply organizations to be used, and the firm always was careful to keep a foot in all camps. Morgan himself, Dwight Morrow and other partners were allied with the Republicans; Russell C. Lewffingwell was allied with the Democrats; Grayson Murphy was allied with the extreme Right; and Thomas W. Lamont was allied with the Left." (945)” CONCLUSION “Tragedy and Hope” is a significant title for this book, which tells me that a great crisis is underway in our world. Because of a lack of genuine leadership in our governments, a new world order is taking place. In “Burden of Empire”, on pages 177-78, Garet Garrett wrote: “When Moses had brought his people near to the Promise Land he sent out scouts to explore it. They returned with rapturous words for its beauties and its fruits, whereupon the people were shrill with joy, until the scouts said: “The only thing is, this land is inhabited by very fierce men.” Moses said: ”Come. Let us fall upon them and take the land. It is ours from the Lord.” At that the people turned bitterly on Moses, and said: “What a prophet you have turned out to be! So the land is ours if we take it? We needed no prophet to tell us that.” No doubt the people know they can have their Republic back if they want it enough to fight for it and to pay the price. The only point is that no leader has yet appeared with the courage to make them choose.” Welcome to the land of One World Government! Will people ever wake up? [….] But the string pullers behind events are not always transparent. The identification and role of power elites in the United States as well as in all other countries has become a subject of both academic and popular focus. Because the power elites play such a significant and arguably destructive role, and have earned the legitimate wrath of billions of people, the activism we prescribe need be directed, at least in part, at them. They are the foundation heads, media moguls, and political powerbrokers. They are the controllers of multinational conglomerates, financiers of major political parties, and intelligence czars. They are the folks who own and govern the Global Plantation at the highest levels. The freaks take many shapes. Some pose as Christians others as Statesmen. All want control and continue to overlook the genocide of middle class America. First the farmers endured the changes of economic policy regarding agriculture favoring the corporate farmers; then the loss of millions of jobs to foreign nations when NAFTA, CAFTA, and FTAA became reality; the Northern Spotted Owl and other beasts took control and devalued the land destroying the timber industry; and Fishermen were sold out by the political hacks as the government bought fishing boats that headed to Finland for scrap. Like all cancers, globalism appears in different forms and different names such as Smart Growth and Sustainable Development. [See video Liberty or Sustainable Development]” […] The need for the New World Order in America was pronounced by President George H.W. Bush September 11, 1991 before a joint session of Congress. Now only fourteen years later we see this cancer spreading all across America with the aid of his son Jeb Bush. I guess that is what we call a Son-of-a-Globalist Ten Principles of Christian Separatism - 10. Politics is Local http://www.exilemm.com/e29-politicslocal.shtml “Democrats and Republicans pretend to disagree about issues like abortion, homosexuality, and labor interests. Each party is allowed to voice positions that enable party to attract and co-opt a constituency of voters on that issue. Republicans pretend to be pro-life to get pro-life voters. Democrats pretend to support the labor interests to get union voters. Of course, each party's leaders never allow these "positions" to interfere with actual government policies. Republicans routinely vote to confirm federal judges who support abortion. Democrats routinely vote to subvert labor interests, such as the May 2000 vote on "normal trade relations" for Communist China.”
“Free Trade: The Myth & The Reality” http://www.newswithviews.com/Yates/steven10.htm “The Bastiat quote above simply assumes that trade need not be restricted to one’s own countrymen. If news of my product reaches people in a neighboring nation—or, for that matter, a nation half way around the world, and they wish to arrange purchases, government may not restrict them from doing so. Legitimate government, we should always remember, is limited to the encoding and protection of individuals’ natural rights to life, liberty, and property—and protecting their money.”
The New Founders From Partisan Politics To Principled Politics By Jim Moore http://www.rense.com/general67/FOUND.HTM This article explains the origin of the two party Republican/Democrat system: “Interestingly enough, in recent years BOTH parties have moved toward the "center" so that their philosophical differences tend to get blurred, depending on the finger in the wind, so to speak”. “Or as Pope saw it: "The madness of many for the gain of a few."
FEMA - The Secret Government Harry V. Martin with research assistance from David Caul Some people have referred to it as the "secret government" of the United States. It is not an elected body, it does not involve itself in public disclosures, and it even has a quasi-secret budget in the billions of dollars. This government organization has more power than the President of the United States or the Congress, it has the power to suspend laws, move entire populations, arrest and detain citizens without a warrant and! hold them without trial, it can seize property, food supplies, transportation systems, and can suspend the Constitution. Not only is it the most powerful entity in the United States, but it was not even created under Constitutional law by the Congress. It was a product of a Presidential Executive Order...

Basic Premises; By Charley Reese http://www.rense.com/general67/basic.htm “All of that might sound cynical, but it really isn't. True conservatives have argued for years that government, even a benign one, is like a clumsy, retarded giant, and therefore you have to be careful to limit what tasks you assign it.
A Libertarian in China; by Terry Hulsey http://lewrockwell.com/orig6/husley1.html “The Chinese government, like our own, dabbles freely in purely economic affairs.” […] The state has a few vestiges of its totalitarian past. The receptiveness of the Chinese to capitalism […] The Chinese economy is a juggernaut. An example of what he meant is the case of intellectual property theft: some businessmen are more than willing to satisfy the appetite for Western videos by making illicit copies of them. Although it’s not yet released for purchase, you can buy Cinderella Man for less than a dollar. The character of the Chinese people “Gentlemen” or not, it is certain that all of the Chinese I met lacked Western sentimentality. For example, there was no second thought about chasing beggars and cripples away from the front of businesses. Similarly, I found that there was no hesitation to “stretching” the terms of a bargain so as to make themselves gainers. My wife, who is herself native Chinese, was surprised to learn that a prominent business didn’t have a lost-and-found. It seemed to the clerks perfectly natural that property could be taken by the finder without any questions asked. I tell them that not only do they get to see a monkey for free but they also get free laughs. I foresee a career as a Chinese humorist – where I will have little competition among this literal-minded people. During the motorized melee we talk about the UNOCAL deal that has put Chevron and a Chinese-government-controlled company in competition. Mr. Tian readily concedes that the US government is interfering. I’m not sure how he takes my characteTheresetion of Congress as a bunch of fair-weather capitalists and demagogic yahoos. But I suppose the Chinese rely not on the show of force, but its swift and sure application upon apprehended criminals, putting to death more of them than the rest of the world combined. The great majority have acquaintances instead; true friendship is a great natural mark of distinction. And fry me in a vat of PC oil, but the democratic levelers are at war against every natural distinction: families, social hierarchies, the natural aristocracy of ability, and even individual identity, which is rooted in sex – all to be pummeled into the shapeless dough that the revolutionary will remake into the new socialist man (cf., Igor Shafarevich, The Socialist Phenomenon). The strolling innocents are in for a nasty collision with democratic modernity. […] “What kind of business are you in?” I ask him. He replies in good English, telling me about his dealings in scrap, especially scrap metal and lead from batteries. For most of his business he rounds up used vehicle batteries around Guangzhou, ships them to Vietnam where they are dismantled, and then reimports them to battery makers in Guangzhou. There is something shady about the detour into Vietnam, which may be illegal in itself, not to mention the possible dumping of pollutants into that country, but I don’t press Joseph about it. […] After a big Western lunch at Prince Grill in downtown Zhongshan, we drive to see a quarter-million yuan home where the owner Mr. Li is directing building. In an unusual arrangement, the land itself is not owned; it is leased from an element of the People’s Army, who are the true owners. There is a small waterfall and goldfish pond in the back and a great view over a valley, where tractors are clearing for further development. For example, unlike Guangzhou, the streets of Kunming, even at 9pm, are filled with children: youngsters, toddlers, and especially those elusive babes in arms. Don Zhou explains that this is the result of China’s official one child per family policy: in small rural towns it’s easy to enforce this policy. But in the larger cities like Kunming, where people arrive anonymously every day, it’s not possible. So the rural people, who cling to the old idea that a large family is old age insurance, come to the city and live where they can, even if they have no job or even no skill. […] I see a gun, but it is plastic. I ask Don Zhou whether he has any kind of home defense. No, he doesn’t. Well, does he have a weapon? No, that’s illegal. In some areas it’s possible to get a hunting permit, but only the rich can afford it. Well, don’t the criminals shoot up everybody? No, they don’t have guns either, although some have been known to use homemade pistols. A nationwide offensive against criminals was launched in 1996 (under the rubric “Strike Hard”), with no official close, but this rounded up only a few hundred weapons. All things considered, you’re pretty safe from criminals in China – the unincorporated ones at least. [Author’s Comment: Criminals are not a danger in China, because in a Communist one-party state system the real criminal is the state itself, because it is the MAFIA BOSS that hates competitors of any kind (recollection of Mussolini’s era in which MAFIA was banned out of Italy)]. […] Most of the public affairs decisions are made by the city and by Beijing. […] What blood? Do I have the right to compare my relatively puny half-million Confederate dead to the some 35 million Chinese victims of the state since 1949? But here now, I’ve got nobody to talk to, and I’m chattering to myself! Think of the great meal in front of you and enjoy! […] The cases of the shoe-shine man, the waiter, and the carriage driver are small examples of the notoriously tough business dealing of the Chinese. There’s an admirable side to this trait: the Chinese strictly obey the law – the need for a police presence is not necessary. But up to the letter of the law they feel free to rape and pillage. Furthermore, the party who seems the loser in any deal feels compelled to shift the terms of the deal so as to regain face (ai mianzi, an important concept to all Asians) on the putative winner. Thus the driver of the carriage took us exactly to the west gate and not a step further, although it might have been no real effort to take us closer to our true destination Secret Agreement To Almalgamate US, Canada And Mexico By Bob Chapman http://www.rense.com/general67/einn.htm ------------------------ Books: “The Energy Non-Crisis”, by Lindsey Williams http://www.reformation.org/energy-non-crisis.html Please keep in mind when you read this eye-opening book that BAPTIST John D.
