“The Wolf Will Eat You Up” The War on Terrorism 20/5/2005 [5] - Part one – One morning at breakfast, Riza’s grandfather noticed he was lingering over his food. “What bothers you, my son?” Grandfather asked Riza. “What is “War on Terrorism?” Riza replied. Looking at his grandson, not with a little apprehension, Grandfather thought to himself: ”This boy is growing up fast; he’s not a child any more. But how can I explain international terrorism, the politics behind the scene, and all its intricacies?” “Why do you ask about this? Did some body talk to you about it?” “In passing the newsagent I saw it in the paper”. “My son” uttered grandfather, “War on Terrorism” means that our government decided to take a stand against terrorism.” “But what is ‘terrorism’?” Riza asked him. “Terrorism[1] means an unlawful and criminal act perpetrated by somebody, or by a group of people, against a country and its government in order to subvert it.” Grandfather said. “You mean, Nonno, that there are outlaws in our country, who are terrorizing us. But why they do that?” Riza asked. “The perpetrators of this kind of crime are called terrorists. They are terrorists because they cause terror among innocent people by causing death, destruction and misery. The reasons they do it are quite complicated to explain. However, mostly a terrorist acts for a political reason, rather than for money.” Grandfather said to him. “Who are they, these terrorists? Where do they come from?” Riza asked his Nonno. “The newspapers tell us that most terrorists are from Muslim countries and that they are Arabs”. Grandfather said. “Nonno, I have friends who are Arabs and some are also Muslims. They are nice people. I like them very much. I cannot see anything bad in them,” Riza replied. “My son, naturally, not all Muslims are bad. We just know, through the media, what government tells us. They say that some militant Islamic group has caused the deaths of thousands of innocent people around the world.” Grandfather said. “But I never saw any terrorist act here in our country, Nonno. Newspapers write as if we were living in a real state of terror, when we know that it never happened here once.” Riza replied. “It is true, acts of terrorism never occurred on our soil so far. But ‘prevention is better than cure’, they say. And our cousins there, on the other side of the globe, tell us to follow the same line on this ‘War on Terrorism’ as they do.” Grandfather answered him. “Nonno, I think you’re not telling me the whole story about the ‘War on Terrorism’. You seem too cautious to talk. Do you think I am too young to know what really is going on in our country? Please, tell me what it really is all about. I want to know everything,” Riza replied again to his grandfather.
Part two Grandfather said to Riza: “Listen, my son. I am going to tell you a story called “The Wolf will eat you up”. Ancient time Once up on the time, the earth was inhabited by many nations, made up of different races and cultures. Many of these nations were pagans - that means they were not Christians. However, because of their traditional culture, which was rooted in the family, they survived a long time, some of them, till today. ChristianityWith the coming of Christianity, many changes took place within the ancient cultures, except the family structure, for if anything, it became stronger and healthier. The Catholic Church, the sacred Family created by Jesus Himself, always held the family as sacred, for God created it at the beginning of the world:
Throughout history in every country of the world, whether Christian or not, the family, of which man is the head and his wife the mother of his children, has been the bond of the society. In the family, children find strength, discipline, security, care and love. Discipline Do you remember, Riza, when you were naughty, how we used to tell you ‘the wolf will eat you up’, if you did not obey your Mama or Dad? You were scared of the wolf, weren’t you?” “Yes, Nonno, I remember; but the fear of God and losing Jesus’ love was even stronger for me.” Riza said. “Of course, your parents, being Christian, taught you that. Moreover, the Apostolic Catholic Church, our mother and teacher, did her best to maintain that way, because of her mandate from the Lord who says: ”Honor your father and your mother, as the LORD your God commanded you, so that your days may be long and that it may go well with you in the land that the LORD your God is giving you. [Deu 5:16] You know the commandments: 'You shall not commit adultery; You shall not murder; You shall not steal; You shall not bear false witness; Honor your father and mother.'" [Luke 18:20] ….As you go, make this proclamation: 'The kingdom of heaven is at hand.' [ Mat 10:7] Modern time Today not only is the family under attack, but so is Christianity and more so the Catholic Church, from both within and without. This happens because Mammon dominates our lives. The banking system controls government, which does their bidding in everything, so with the Church, for she’s become a slave of the modern money system herself, and she is now lost in the labyrinth of the international financial system, where there is no way out of it. “Nonno, you mentioned about government doing the bidding of the banking system. What does that mean?” Riza asked. Government “Contrary to what the media says, the government is not looking after people’s interests. That rarely happens in any country around the world. The politicians, whether they are in power or in opposition, are mostly puppets in the hands of the money changers who control them, for the money changers are above politics, and their aim is not just to make money, but to control the whole world. However, to do that the money changers have first to undermine Christianity and the Catholic Church, and everything she stands for, especially the family. So the government, cleverly, through the education system and the mass media, takes the role of the family, overruling parental authority, and destroying the family unity in the process. Because our government makes antichristian family laws, your mother and father have very little authority over you, my Riza. In our society, family unity is almost gone. How they did it? As I said, it was through the media and the school system, my dear. First, they taught you that God did not create the world, with everything in it – they taught you it just evolved. Once God is out of picture, so is the natural law, which according the Christian revelation, is the foundation of the family unity. With no God at the centre of people’s life, the family becomes dysfunctional and disintegrates. Without a family structure, the individual member is weak and vulnerable to all the attacks from within and from without.” Grandfather told Riza. “Nonno, you are saying that most people don’t live a real family life as in the old days, and so they are weak and vulnerable. Thus, because people feel insecure, and worry about many things, like who will look after the children, and who will care for their old and sick Grandparents while they make a living. Then the government steps in and says: ‘We are here to look after you, Folks.’ Riza said. “Yes, indeed, my son.” Grandpa replied. “Not only that, but the government knows it hasn’t total control yet. So to reinforce its position as saviour of the community, now and again they must cry ‘Wolf, Wolf, Wolf’, in order to keep the people on their toes.” Riza said: “Now I’m getting the picture, Nonno. The government is the one playing the role of a parent, like you used to do to me when I was naughty, telling us in this ‘War on Terrorism’ – Watch out! This is what might happened to you, if you do not follow our line, the ‘Wolf will eat you up’.” Nadir Martello [1] “Remember that terrorism is a technique invented in modern times by Lenin, developed by the gang that became the KGB and conducted ever since by governments, not by individuals acting alone. Lenin once said that "terrorism" is Communism. Governments secretly inspire most of the terrorism that afflicts the world today.” [From: Smirk Worship Satanism in the Church http://www.rense.com/general65/orgg.htm - website, www.stangbooks.com] Important links on the same subject: http://disc.server.com/discussion.cgi?disc=149495;article=84087;title=APFN
